   There are two most popular types of Russian visas - "tourist" and "business" . In most cases you should be satisfied with a "tourist" visa unless you are planning to come to Russia for longer than 30 days. In this case you should apply for a "business" visa. And if you need a multi entry visa then, of course, we are talking about "business" visas.

What is the difference between visa and "visa support" ?

Visa support (or "invitation" ) is a paper you use to obtain your visa from the Russian Consulate in your country. Tourist visa support consists of two papers - "voucher" and so-called "confirmation of tourist acceptance" . Both papers are required for visa processing.

If you are brave enough to work with the Russian Consulate just yourself then you can request your papers from us by submitting the "Tourist Visa Application Form" . The total cost for a Russian tourist visa support is US$ 40 per person. Group discounts are available upon request.

Usually it takes us about 30 minutes to a few hours to prepare your papers and fax them to you. In rare cases when we are overloaded with work it may take us up to 24 hours (but not longer) to process your request. We work on Saturdays and Sundays to meet your needs.

Can you process my visa for me ?

Russian Tourist Visa    If you have never dealt with the Russian Consulate yourself and if you are a USA citizen we can process your visa for you. First of all you must complete "Tourist Visa Application Form" . Then we would need you to prepare the following documentation and mail it to our FL address:

1. A copy of the vital pages of your valid Passport . Holders of travel documents other than passports (Permit to Reenter the United States of America, Refugee Travel Document, etc.) must also submit a copy of both sides of their “green card”.

2.Original passport. Only copies are no longer accepted! Russian visas are attached to passports now. Passport must contain at least one blank page marked "visas", otherwise the passport will not be accepted and will be returned .

3. Application form [ MS Office Word file format - form95.doc ] , completed and signed. f you are unable to download the application, please, let us know your fax number and we would immediately fax you a copy.)

4. One recent passport-size photograph, signed on the back.

  Visa extension or corrections are no longer possible. In case visa requires extension or correction, applicant will have to reapply for a new visa. The Consulate will not bear any responsibility for the errors in visas, which were not brought to our attention immediately upon receipt of the visas from the Russian Consulate.

  No medical insurance is officially required for the US citizens, unless they stay in Russia for 6 months or more. Prior to your visit, consult your medical insurance issuer for details. On the basis of reciprocity mandatory medical insurance is required for the citizens of Estonia, Israel and Finland, as well as for the citizens of Schengen Agreement Member-States (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain).

Why don't you issue 3 month tourist visas anymore ?

Very good question. We do NOT issue visas at all. We just work with the Russian Consulates in the USA and make sure that your papers are in perfect order before they go to the Russian Consulate. We have no a single visa denial in our history. As to 3 month tourist visas - they just do not exist anymore. If you need a visa longer than 30 days then the only option for you is to get a business visa. Business visas can be up to 12 months.

OK, then, how do I get a business visa? And how much does it cost? Can I just get a business invitation from your company ?

Russian Business Visa is supposed to be issued for the people, who come to Russia for business purposes. But because this type of visa allows long stays, multiple entries etc., it is also used by ordinary travelers, who need more flexibility. To obtain a "business visa invitation" complete the Business Visa Application Form. Please do not leave blank fields. Fax a clear photocopy of the vital pages of your passport at 1-914-510-6226 .

Please, note, that you must register your visa within 3 working days (except Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays) after entering Russia, or you will have problems upon leaving the country.

You can register your visa in any hotel in Moscow or in other cities. It would be very complicated for us to register your visa if more than 3 working days passed since your entry to Russia.

We are not responsible for visas delayed or lost in the mail.
We are not an Embassy, and do not issue visas at our office.
Although we guarantee our services, Russian consulate may delay visa processing or even refuse to grant entry visa for any reason.
Please allow time for postage and note that all Russian consulates in the U.S.A. are closed for all U.S. and Russian national holidays.
